Supporting Korean Dual Language Programs (KDLP) and Establishment of Korean Classes (2009 – 2018)

It is essential to continuously establish Korean classes in public elementary, middle, and high schools to pursue the establishment of AP Korean.

As of 2018, IKEN stands to network with and provide support for teachers and administrators who show an interest to establish Korean classes and KDLPs at their institutions

At the IKEN Symposium to be held in December 26-27, 2018, IKEN will provide a networking opportunity for educators who have an interest or are already working towards establishing KDLPs at their school district.

The ultimate goal of out-of-state participants is to learn about the ways in establishing a KDLP in their respective schools by visiting KDLP classrooms and observing lessons.
