Understanding Korea Project (2012 – 2018)

In 2012, IKEN partnered with Academy of Korean Studies (AKS), Ministry of Education, Republic of Korea and started a new project of spreading Korean history, culture, and language in the U.S.

This project was titled “Understanding Korea Project” and launched numerous workshops with the goal of spreading awareness of Korea to non-Koreans across the nation.

From 2013 to 2018, workshops have been held in various states which include Washington, Minnesota, Ohio, Georgia, Colorado, and Northern California.
